A hilarious play
that pits a father in law against a mother
in a comedic succession of ‘squabbles.’
Jerry Sloan is a successful writer of
advertising jingles married to an equally
successful lawyer. Living with the happy
couple, though, is the not so happy Abe
Dryfus, Jerry’s crusty, ill-tempered father
in law. The situation is made more serious
when Jerry’s mother, Mildred, looses her
house in a fire and needs a place to stay.
Abe and Mildred can’t stand each other! One
hilarious confrontation after another occurs
until the heart warming finale in which the
oldsters discover that, really, each is not
so bad.

Clara Smith
Being Mrs.
Fisher has been very interesting for Clara,
since she is now a grandmother times two and
a third grandchild is on the way. She can
relate to the worry of germs from other
people, and not wanting to share the few
precious moments that one has with the
Baby! Character parts are Clara's
favorites. She wishes to thank her husband,
family, and associates for helping make this
show a success.

week's rehearsal! He was also Hysterium
in A Funny Thing Happened On The Way
To The Forum and the Long Song
Seller in Oliver! Other

June Weiland
June is delighted to have time to be on
stage again, having recently retired
from teaching and directing plays at
Manchester High School. She keeps busy
editing a video, playing bridge,
travelling, and enjoying her first
grandchild, Jackson, born last summer.
Active on and backstage in community
theatre for 37 years, June serves on the
CAP Board and most recently produced
The Sound of Music. She'd like to
thank Vicky and Clara for the chance to

Ric Foytik
Ric’s
first role with the Chelsea Players was
Luther Billis in South Pacific.
Then he played a few serious roles such
as Bill Calhoun in Kiss Me Kate,
a lawyer in The Night of January 16th
and Henry Higgins in the 1982 production
of My Fair Lady. But, comedy is
what he prefers to do. Jesse in Plaza
Suite, Charlie Cowell in The
Music Man, Titus in The Curios
Savage and he played nine different
characters in a comedy called
Bullshot Crummond at the Black Sheep
Theater. He hasn’t been in a show in ten
years but couldn’t help being lured in
by such a juicy role as Abe Dryfus. He
just wishes he could remember the lines
as well as he used to. |
